Science
Medway's Science Vision
We encourage our children to use a range of experiments that build awe and wonder to develop curious, self-reliant, confident and independent thinkers.
Aims:
• Through our science curriculum, we promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• By encouraging children to ask questions, make predictions, collect data, and draw evidence-based conclusions, we empower them to become confident scientific thinkers and develop a healthy degree of scepticism about the information they consume.
• Our science curriculum also focusses on promoting collaboration and communication amongst our students. We believe that by working together in teams, engaging in scientific discussions, and presenting findings, children develop not only scientific expertise but also important social skills.
